Client’s tone potentiometer had become loose and severed. Resoldering and general setup restored full functionality. “when I gave my JP my guitar, it had a couple of issues, but the biggest priority is that it had stop outputting audio, I dont know anything about electronics so I just gave it to them to fix it. The other issues my guitar had was WAY to high action, one of the knobs was off, the body was dirty and the strings were old. JP besides working on the electronics, went ahead and fixed all the other issues, including the action, restringing my guitar and even polishing the body. after i received my guitar I went back home and played my guitar for hours, it had never been easier/funner to play, thx :3! ” – Luna

Output was intermittent; Floyd Rose tremolo required adjustments and new strings. “After dealing with months of output issues my guitar eventually stopped outputting audio. I couldn’t figure out how to fix it so I brought it to JP and he was able to fix the sound issue and even pointed out and fixed some other issues with the pickups. He also cleaned and restrung my guitar! Sounds and plays great!” – Aron Update 03/30/26: “Hey JP just wanted to say thanks again for taking the time to work on my guitar. It sounds way better now actually than when I first got it ” – Aron

This red Ibanez came in with a severed output jack connection and two broken potentiometers. The client told me, “I’m not sure what’s wrong with it, if you wanna check it out.” After inspection, I repaired the jack, replaced both potentiometers, and finished with a full polish, restring, and setup. The guitar left the bench fully functional and looking refreshed – ready to play again after years of wear.
